FAMILIES of three Fleurieu Peninsula men who died by suicide in the past month say improved services could have saved their lives.
Desperate families have reported waiting up to six weeks for specialist help, while the family of a Goolwa suicide victim says critical counselling for their son never came despite his battle with severe depression and suicidal thoughts over the past year.

This is a BIG issue for us men of the Fleurieu. Its not acceptable that our mates are dying. It's not acceptable that we have friends/sons/fathers that are not receiving the treatment for their mental illness in the way that THEY need.
Any ideas on what we can do?
